Steph Primm to Retire as Executive Director of Knox County Homeless Coalition in Early 2024
Steph Primm, the Executive Director of Knox County Homeless Coalition (KCHC), has announced her retirement in early 2024. Primm, who has been at the forefront of KCHC’s development since its inception a decade ago, has been instrumental in the significant growth and success of the organization.
Under Primm’s leadership, KCHC has expanded beyond re-opening the Hospitality House Family Shelter in Rockport. The organization now operates an emergency overnight shelter, transitional apartments for youth, The Landing Place youth center, and affordable housing units. In addition, KCHC offers comprehensive services including urgent need coordination, case management for adults, families, and youth, housing navigation & education, free mental health therapy for youth, transportation, and free supplies for those in care, all delivered with boundless compassion.
