Donation from Heavenly Threads
Camden —Heavenly Threads, a volunteer run thrift shop and outreach program of the First Congregational Church of Camden, recently presented the Knox County Homeless Coalition with a donation of $3000. Since 1995, Heavenly Threads has supported many local organizations by donating proceeds from the sale of gently-used treasures received from the community.
“The First Congregational Church and its outreach program do so much for our community. We greatly appreciate this generous donation. This will benefit many homeless families in our community.” said Elinor Weissman, Case Manager at KCHC.
In 2018, Heavenly Threads donated more than $30,000 to local non-profit groups. “Remember, when you donate OR purchase, you are helping many charitable groups. We are proud to support the good work done by KCHC.” said Melissa Chapman from Heavenly Threads.
