I love Midcoast Maine – its vistas, outdoor recreation, food scene, and countless events. For all the pluses, I am also aware of immense needs in the areas of affordable housing and food insecurity. I also know that these needs do not show up once a year. The needs are everyday needs, and I feel the least I can do is to be a steady contributor. I want Homeworthy to know they can count on me, that I care and value their work.

I am grateful for all the work Homeworthy does each day to keep families together, safe, and settled. To be homeless must be a scary thing, and Homeworthy is able to calm people’s fears. Our church works closely with Homeworthy through our Shields Mission and Outreach Committee, and I am glad to add my personal monthly donation to help. Of all your projects, I am most interested in seeing your affordable housing projects, including tiny houses, become a reality. I encourage others to make a recurring monthly donation - these amounts really add up over time.
